Common Health Issues

Menstrual Issues

Hormones are not the enemy - they are the directors and messengers of this monthly performance. However, they can have a powerful physical and emotional influence on us. They must have this power in order to fulfill their intended function.

I. Irregular and/or lack of menstruation

The stories of women who have used herbs for irregular periods are not very exciting. Usually, they take the herbs and the herbs work. Results may come within a single month or, depending on the situation, up to a year.

Female Comfort

This product may provide relief for congestive dysmenorrhea associated with PMS and water retention. By relaxing smooth muscle tension, pain and cramping following the onset of menses are reduced. It may also provide relief of nervous anxiety, morning sickness and hot flashes are also reported.

All Cell Detox
Prevention for tumors, fibroid cysts, breast lumps, polyps. A very important, general, whole-body cellular cleanser.
When the body is clean and healthy, the immune system functions better and tissues are more robust.

II. Painful Menstruation

Dysmenorrhea is the occurrence of painful menstrual periods with cramping. Although mild cramps may be tolerated, they can be extremely painful and debilitating and that is intolerable. Herbs for dysmenorrhea tend to be antispasmodics and may also be helpful for ovarian, labor and after birth pain. Asthma, muscle tension, vascular headaches, bowel spasms, adult colic, and even hiccoughs often respond to antispasmodics.

Cramp Relief

Cramp Relief Relax those cramping muscles. Most women experience some degree of cramping during their monthly periods.
For some women, menstrual cramps can be so severe that they are debilitating.
Cramp Relief allows the body to relax contracted muscles and ease cramping.

B6
It is used to metabolize amino acids (protein management) as well as lipids (fats) and nucleic acids.
As protein intake increases, so does the need for B6.
Vitamin B6 is important for the production of energy and for proper nervous system function.

Magnesium Complex
The heart, brain and kidneys cannot function without adequate levels of this nutrient.
Magnesium is necessary for the metabolism of vitamin C, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. It is important to the nervous system and for the synthesis of certain proteins. It governs how calcium is used in the body.

FCS II
Female Corrective for excess uterine bleeding.
The herbs shrink the uterus and restrict peripheral blood flow to reduce bleeding, fibroid cysts, sore breasts and water retention. By balancing hormone levels, a variety of "female problems" are relieved including birth control side effects and hot flashes.

III. Heavy Flow

Menorrhagia is heavy menstrual flow that may require hourly attention.
If menstrual flow becomes unexpectedly and uncharacteristically heavy, it is a good time to consult a doctor. Starting a new program of heavy dieting or exercise may produce menorrhagia, but so might infections, blood clotting problems, and uterine polyps or fibroids.

Menstrual Reg
is a formula designed to help reduce heavy bleeding while balancing hormones and easing menstrual pain. It contains herbs that have a direct styptic or antihemorragic action, as well as herbs to balance hormones.

Yarrow, shepherd's purse, lady's mantle, and black haw all have a long history of helping to stop internal and external bleeding. As uterine tonics they may be expected to help tone and tighten weak tissues. Sarsaparilla, false unicorn, and chaste tree (vitex) are included to balance hormones. Nettle leaf is also nutritive and rich in iron.
