Heart Fibrillation or Palpitations
By Steven Horne, RH (AHG) & Kimberly Balas, ND
Sea also: Arrhythmia (Irregular Heartbeat)

Rapid, irregular contractions of the heart muscle called heart palpitations. Symptoms can include an irregular or rapid heart rate, skipped heartbeats, shortness of breath and chest discomfort. They may be caused by anxiety, lack of exercise, high blood pressure, diabetes or other problems.

Many of the best herbal remedies for this problem are botanicals that are not readily available, such as lily of the valley, professional assistance should be sought.

However one of the best natural solutions is to make sure the person has adequate amounts of minerals, especially magnesium, potassium and calcium. Liver congestion and food sensitivities may also be involved.

Try eliminating sugar and common allergy causing foods, such as grains with gluten like wheat.

This can be a very difficult condition to treat naturally, but the following may help.
