Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a form of biologically active sulfur that is found in the human diet. Sulfur is important to joint health for a wide variety of processes. Hyaluronic acid is an important component of cartilage that plays a crucial role in joint motion and homeostasis.

Many companies sell glucosamine. They also sell chondroitin. Both are excellent supplements for joint health. Some companies even sell these two together. As with any new or improved product formulation, NSP's Product Development team was concerned about getting the best and most effective ingredients as it developed its improved EverFlex formula.

Scientists researched hyaluronic acid and discovered that the most effective molecular weight for joint benefits is 1-1.5 million Dalton (a measurement of molecular weight or mass). As a result, NSP uses HyaMax® hyaluronic acid, which falls in the optimal range for molecular weight. This form has been shown to have excellent uptake and distribution to both connective tissues and skin after oral consumption.
