Sandalwood essence is derived from the heartwood of the sandalwood tree. The trees grow very slowly, reaching maturity in 40 to 50 years. Cut sandalwood is left on the forest floor until the outer wood is eaten away by ants, leaving only the heartwood, which the ants will not attack.
Sandalwood essential oil is steam-distilled from this heartwood.

RELAXING BATH
5-6 drops sandalwood
2-3 drops Roman chamomile
Combine essential oils with 1 teaspoon of honey.
Add honey and oil mixture to running bath water.
