By Steven Horne, RH (AHG) & Kimberly Balas, ND

See also Autoimmune Disoders

Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that attacks the insulating coverings (myelin sheath) of nerves brain cells. Symptoms often include weakness, fatigue, debility and numbness and occur in varied regions of the body depending on the nerves affected.

Fats are very important for the myelin sheath. One possible cause of MS is mcrcury poisoning. Some MS patients have improved after having all metal fillings removed from their mouth, followed by mercury detoxification program.

MS may also be due to the polio virus from vaccines.

General therapy for autoimmune disorders can be helpful.
