An important infection fighting immune system stimulant. Golden Seal has been used as a substitute for quinine with no after effects.

Parthenium is also a natural antibiotic that helps with both viral and bacterial infections. It helps the body to cleanse and strengthen itself.

The liquid form is especially useful for children and sore throats. Has a bitter taste. (To make a gargle even more effective, add some capsicum extract and/or a drop of tea tree oil. May be swallowed.) It can also be used externally as a rub or mixed with powders and applied as a paste.

Parthenium is a newly standardized name for Echinacia Parthenium which has been sold as "Echinacea" for many years.

The herbs are primary components of combinations IGS II and IN-X. The HIGS II combination replaces golden seal with myhrr for hypoglycemics.
