Fever
By Steven Horne, RH (AHG) & Kimberly Balas, ND
There are many herbs that can help when fevers are present. Fevers will usually go down once the bowel has been
opened with an enema, especially in young children. Catnip
or garlic tea can be used as an enema solution to help bring
down the fever.
Herbs that promote perspiration can also be used to bring
down fevers when taken as warm teas, or as extracts taken
with warm water. Some of the herbs that have proven useful
here include yarrow, peppermint, chamomile, catnip and
capsicum.
