GRAVEL ROOT Extract
Eupatorium pupureum
Properties: Astringent, cholagogue, diaphoretic, diuretic, febrifuge,
laxative, lithotriptic, stimulant.
Parts Used: Rhizomes, leaves, and flowers.
Historical Uses:
Gravel Root has been used to dissolve kidney stones,
urinary bladder and gall-bladder stones.
It is known to eliminate uric acid deposits.
Gravel Root has also been employed to increase the urinary
flow.
It is also said to be able of restoring fertility among sterile
individuals.
Contraindications: None.
Adverse reactions: None.
Dosage: 10 to 40 drops three times per day.
Also drink plenty of water (6-8 glasses) to ensure the flushing
of stone deposits or acid crystals.
