HOW TO USE GREEN CLAY

1. Face Mask
Spread the clay in a thin layer and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.
Rinse off with warm water
Apply Natria Advanced recovery cream.

2. Plaster and Poultices
a. Apply the clay directly to the skin, in a 1 to 2 cm (1/4 inch approximately) thick layer of green clay paste and leave for an hour or 2 maximum.
b. Or apply the clay using a thin natural cloth (cotton for ex.): apply 1/4 inch layer of green clay paste to the center of the cloth, fold in the 4 corners of the cloth and apply this plaster to the desired area.
In case of necessity (major health problem) you can repeat this operation 3 to 4 times a day (if possible, of course).

Note: In both cases, remove as much of the clay as possible and discard . DO NOT reuse it.
Rinse off with warm water.

Never touch your green clay with metal.

Use your hands and/or a wooden spoon if need be.

Clay has been used for thousands of years and yet no one has been able to pin down what makes it a healer. A naturopath asks only that it should heal; he does not delve into details. He is too happy to use it in every case he judges appropriate and achieve good results. That is why he is full of wonder every time clay accomplishes a cure that he did not expect to happen in so little time.

Most of the users of clay leave scientific explanations aside when they become astounded by the accomplishments of clay. Some of the scientists who ventured in the search for clues to the secret of clay found a number of minerals such as: silica, aluminium, magnesium, titanium, iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, manganese, and others. The presence of a mineral can justify a few cures. However, when clay deeply affects several diseases of opposite natures, the main explanation must be found elsewhere than in the mere mineral content of clay.

More people-scientists and laymen-became fascinated with it, and some looked for more clues to its healing powers. They provide some minimal explanation-just enough to whet one's curiosity and interest for this peculiarly fine earth. Clay has a negative electrical attraction for particles that are positively charged. In the organism most of the toxic poisons are positively charged. These toxins are irresistibly drawn towards the clay. Moreover, according to an authority on Bentonite (another name for the energetic clay) "clay's particles being shaped like a 'calling card' with the wide surfaces negative and the edges of the card positive, have many times more negative than positive pulling power." The same authority writes the following: "the very minuteness of the particles of Bentonite gives a large surface area in proportion to the volume used, thus enabling it to pick up many times its weight in positively charged particles."

Clay has been an important resource for mankind throughout human history, from the building of the first mud huts to the manufacture of cooking utensils, storage jars etc. Together with sun, air and water, clay is a powerful agent of physical regeneration with amazing healing properties. Clay is mentioned in the Egyptian pharmacopoeia and was used in mummification processes. In the present day, the healing powers and virtues of clay are being rediscovered. This naturally occurring product has the ability to repair damaged tissues, at the same time eliminating accumulated toxins from the body.

The great German naturopaths Kneipp, Kuhn, Just and Felke advocated the use of clay as a natural remedy and was considered a vital part of natural medicine of which Mahatma Gandhi was a loyal devotee. The clay known as "argile" can be green, red, yellow, pink or white: each one has its own properties and it is important to choose the one which best suits your skin type. Argiletz clay comes in four different colours, all of which can be used as face masks, in cleansers and as body-wraps.
