For children's respiratory infections including colds, flu and allergies.
This excellent blend of herbs is intended to stimulate the immune and respiratory
systems which are the most involved in cold and flu symptoms. The sambucol
content provides nutritional support against viruses.
The herbs should also be helpful for upper respiratory allergies, earaches,
etc.
Elderberry is used in Europe for cold symptoms, including sore throat, to
expel bronchial mucus (asthma) and relieve inflammation. It is high in vitamin
C and flavonoids.
Ganoderma (Teishi mushroom) is a broad-spectrum healing herb in China. It
inhibits bacteria growth and stimulates immune function against viruses.
Astragalus strengthens weakness, improves circulation and promotes the activity
of white blood cells.
This combination will be most used during the cold flu season and the spring
allergy season.
It should be used for prevention more than for relief.
